In the first four commandments, we’ve seen what it looks like to love God. Now, beginning with the fifth commandment, we will learn what it means to love other people. If we love God, we will love those who bear God’s image. The fifth commandment shows us how to think of other people in three different ways: above us, under us, and equal to us.
