There is not very much recorded in the Bible about the early years of Jesus life. In this lesson we will study three main events. First we will notice how that Jesus, being truly man, was required to submit to all the laws of the Old Testament. When He was eight days old He was circum- cised and when He was fourty days old His parents had to present Him to the Lord in the temple.

Next we read of the wisemen of the East who came to worship Him. Soon after this Joseph had to take Mary and Jesus and flee into Egypt. The last event was when Jesus went with Joseph and Mary to the temple and stayed behind in the temple in the midst of the doctors.
