Zephaniah—Threatenings and Promises

View All Lessons

God had sent many prophets to call the people of Judah to repent, but they had gotten worse and worse. Now God raised up Zephaniah to plainly deliver the message of their certain destruction, of God’s anger, of his wrath, and the woe that was soon to come, not only to Judah, but also to all the wicked nations around them But because God is merciful, and keeps his covenant promises, God also tells Zephaniah to give them words of comfort and hope for the future.
