The temple has been rebuilt, and the priesthood and Levitical offices set up, but the walls around Jerusalem were still a pile of rubble. When Nehemiah heard about this, it made him very sad, even when he was serving wine to King Artaxerxes. So once again, God causes the king to help, and he sends Nehemiah to rebuild the city walls. This is the story of how this came about.
