In previous lessons, we’ve seen how both the northern tribes of Israel and the southern tribes of Judah were invaded and carried off into captivity, just as God’s prophets had foretold. In this lesson, we will see how the Lord delivered his people from exile. God even caused King Cyrus of Persia to send 50,000 Jewish captives back to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple.
