Recently someone asked me which was my favourite book of the Bible to preach from. I replied that it was the prophecy of Zechariah. Why would this be the case? Zechariah is not a well-known book of the Bible. It has some passages which are difficult to interpret. There are strange visions in it. However, there are many things in this book which are plain and easy to be understood. Also, this prophecy of Zechariah is full of Christ. There’s nothing more important for the Christian than Christ—getting to know him, trust in him and love him is the way to be saved.
