David had been anointed by God to be King of Israel, and because of that, Saul wanted to take his life. So David fled into the wilderness to hide out, and 400 men came to be with him. While there, David did much good for God’s people, and showed his allegiance to King Saul. These are the stories of David’s wilderness years.
