Moses, as God’s instrument, had done much for the children of Israel. He stood before Pharaoh to defend the Lord’s people. He led them forth from Egypt and across the Red Sea. He brought them the commandments of God from Mt. Sinai. He accompanied them throughout their forty-year wandering in the wilderness.
