Jesus said, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil” (Matthew 5:17). This weighty statement of the Lord is an important key in our understanding of the intention as well as the beauty of God’s eternal law. Often we associate the Person and work of Jesus Christ with the word “gospel,” and rightly so. But it may and must also be associated with the law of God.

Therefore in this module we will examine why the Lord Jesus is called the ‘last Adam’ and how that is related to His announcement that He didn’t come to destroy the law of God.
